John Deere has expanded its compact
equipment attachment portfolio with the launch of the new MB60 material boom,
engineered to improve lifting, moving and placement efficiency in confined
jobsite environments.
Designed for landscaping, general
contracting and nursery applications, the MB60 enables operators to handle
heavy or irregularly shaped materials with greater precision when traditional
buckets, forks or grapples are less effective. The attachment features a rated
lifting capacity of 6,000 lbs., delivering reliable performance across a
variety of material-handling tasks.
According to John Deere, the MB60 is
equipped with dual hook points that provide flexible rigging configurations,
allowing operators to better balance and secure different load types. When
paired with John Deere skid steers, compact track loaders or compact wheel
loaders, the boom enhances maneuverability and supports accurate material
placement in tight or hard-to-access spaces.
Operator safety and convenience were also
considered in the design, with serrated steps added to improve footing during
machine access. The MB60 is compatible with multiple John Deere compact
machines when fitted with the appropriate coupler interface.
