Causes Of Unstable Engine Operation And Troubleshooting Methods
Publication Date: 2024-07-08

Recently, a comprehensive technical solution has been successfully developed and launched to solve seven common problems such as high and low-pressure air leakage, oxygen sensor failure, spark plug electrode erosion, etc., to provide drivers with more peace of mind and smoother traveling experience. The following are the corresponding solutions to the problems and failures.

1. High and low-pressure air leakage: as a key factor affecting the stable operation of the engine, air leakage will lead to insufficient air intake or exhaust, which in turn affects the engine performance. Through advanced leakage detection technology, we can quickly locate the leakage point and repair it to ensure the sealing of the airway and improve engine efficiency.

2. Oxygen Sensor Failure: The oxygen sensor is an important component for controlling the air-fuel ratio of the engine, and its failure will lead to an overly thick or too thin mixture, affecting fuel economy and emission performance. The use of high-precision testing equipment for regular inspection and replacement of the oxygen sensor can effectively protect the engine's combustion efficiency.

3. Spark plug electrode erosion: As the core component of the ignition system, spark plug electrode erosion will lead to poor ignition, which will lead to cylinder failure. By measuring the spark plug gap, once more than 10% of the specified value, immediately replaced to ensure the stable operation of the ignition system.

4. Unstable ignition coil: the ignition coil is an important part that generates high-voltage electricity to supply spark plugs, and its performance directly affects the ignition quality. Regularly checking and replacing the aging ignition coil can effectively avoid the problem of lack of power caused by unstable ignition.

5. Failure of continuous flow control valve assembly: Failure of this component will directly affect the control of engine air intake, which in turn affects the engine performance. Use original parts for replacement to ensure the working precision and reliability of the continuous flow control valve assembly.

6. Malfunctioning pressure reducer: The pressure reducer plays an important role in gas engines, and its malfunctioning will lead to fluctuations in gas supply pressure and affect combustion efficiency. By replacing the pressure reducer with stable performance, the smoothness of engine operation can be significantly improved.

7. Malfunctioning EGR valve: A malfunctioning EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve will interfere with the normal operation of the exhaust gas recirculation system, affecting emission performance and fuel economy. Regularly checking the working conditions of the EGR valve and cleaning or replacing it when necessary are important measures to maintain healthy engine operation.
